Day 1 - Sydney to Surf Camp
Our journey commences bright and early as we depart Sydney via the Harbour Bridge and begin our trek northwards along the Pacific Highway. Crossing the mighty Hawkesbury River, we travel past Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park as we head further north. This afternoon we continue on through the towns of Kempsey, birthplace of the “Akubra” hat, before arriving at our idyllic Surf location. This area is one of the most beautiful and pristine parts of the Australian coast line – a unique location that can’t be missed. Here we jump into the Aussie surf lifestyle and hit the water for our first lesson. If surfing is not your thing, kickback and explore the surrounding area where abundant wildlife roam, a truly unbelievable place for sun, surf, and sand. Tonight we relax “Aussie Style” around the campfire.

Day 2 - Surf Camp to Byron Bay
This morning we hit the beach again for an early morning surf. Leaving this remote location behind we head north passing through Coffs Harbour, the Banana growing capital! With the Great Dividing Range to our west and the Pacific Ocean on our east, the highway takes us past the Northern Rivers towns of Grafton and Ballina before reaching the resort town of Byron Bay, Australia’s most easterly township. Renowned for its surfing beaches, beautiful rainforests and eclectic lifestyle, Byron Bay oozes a relaxed vibe that “hooks” many a traveller. Some have been known to visit and never leave! After checking into our accommodation, we head off to explore the town.

This region is one of Australia’s most popular holiday destinations with its great climate, famous surf beaches, extreme adventure activities and well known Theme Parks. I've done this trip
Write reviewA great way to see the best of the East coast in a hurry!
Sailing the Whitsundays was amazing, I also really enjoyed the farmstay.
Take a raincoat, I didn't and I had to buy one! Be open minded and give everything a try!
It would have been good to see Cape Tribulation. Also the trip to the barrier reef that was at an additional cost, however I believe that this is now being included in the trip price.
I Wish There Had Been More 'back-up' Activites In Place Because A Lot Of Our Activities Were Cancelled Due To Bad Weather And I Felt Dissapointed As I Had Paid To Do These Activites As Part Of The Tour Or Had Booked To Do Them And Therefore Had Nothing To Do.

Great new friends, go go go, jam-packed, party-hard!
Surf Camp, Byron Bay, Kroombit Ranch, Emu Park, The Whitsundays, Cairns. Basically everywhere.
Australia is expensive, be prepared to spend a lot! Take all the opportunities you can, better than regretting you didn't do it. You can catch up on sleep when the tour is finished. Or on the bus.
No, I thought we did great stuff with the time we had.
It Was Such A Great Experience, Although It Seems Very Expensive, You Literally Are So Busy For 2 Weeks. They Fly By, And You'll Do So Much! The Team Who Run The Tour Are Awesome, Will Definately Travel With Them Again!

A well organised, great non-stop fun that I would love to repeat
The tour guide was quiet simple amazing. Bret Sorrell (Traka) was constantly ensuring we all had the best time possible. Where it was learning about the local surroundings of our trip, going out drinking all night or sitting and playing the guitar he made the trip so special for all us. Jamie
Do as many activities as possible (its a once in a lifetime) Pack light Go out as much as possible
