On our 'Zambia Building and Wildlife Experience', you'll be getting stuck in to community life from the start! Get your hands dirty, help to build new homes for a rural Zambian village using traditional methods, and learn from an amazing community about their culture. You'll also have the rewarding opportunity to help out in a local school and visit a local feeding programme for orphaned children.

South Africa Big 5 Wildlife and Community

Get involved with this exciting wildlife conservation programme on a real Big 5 reserve in a stunning part of South Africa; near Port Elizabeth on the world famous Garden Route. As a South Africa wildlife volunteer, you'll be assisting in lots of different activities including game monitoring, game capture, as well as the possibility of caring for lions, elephants and even tigers in the sanctuary.*

China Giant Panda Conservation

The Giant Panda is one of the most endangered animals in the world, and this conservation project is a fantastic opportunity to observe and help these amazing creatures.

You’ll be helping out with this amazing project that aims to give shelter and care to Vervet monkeys, which have been injured, orphaned or abused. So they can’t be released back into the wild. Instead, they’re rehabilitated and housed in natural enclosures with their fellow primate companions.

Become a wildlife volunteer in Australia and get up close and personal with some of Australia’s unique wildlife.You’ll be helping with a number of activities from feeding kangaroos and monitoring koalas to helping the sanctuary with conservation work.

Thailand Community and Elephant Volunteers

This programme offers you the opportunity to become part of the local Thai community and gain a true understanding of the Surin province and its people. The rewarding hands-on work at this elephant sanctuary in Thailand will involve helping maintain and plant crops to feed the local elephants, giving them a wash down at the river and offering support to the local communities. As a volunteer abroad in Thailand you’ll really get under the skin of local life and see Surin from the inside.

Sri Lanka Elephant and Community Volunteers

This project was started because the owners of these elephants could no longer look after them. The project works to care for the elephants and their mahouts who rely entirely on their elephants for their own survival. The project works to slowly and continuously improve the wellbeing of the elephants by educating tourists, the elephant keepers (mahouts) and the local community.

Zimbabwe Rhino and Elephant Conservation

Live in close contact with Zimbabwe wildlife including black and white rhino, African elephants and buffalo on the 10,000-private game reserve. You’ll have the opportunity to spend time with rhino and elephants and be involved in valuable conservation work which will help towards securing the futures of these endangered species in Zimbabwe. You will get a behind the scenes insight into the running of a privately owned African game reserve.
