Prince Wills, The Anti Poacher!

Something that makes our blood boil here at RG Towers is animal poaching. Luckily there are high profile individuals, such as Prince William, who are prepared to jump on board and stick up for what's right.

We're real animal lovers over at RG, so once we saw Prince Wills had made this campaign video to support CITES- which is the annual meeting of the 'Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species'- we thought we'd spread the word to help raise awareness.

We've just been sent some fantastic snaps from our Real Gappers in Namibia, and we couldn't NOT share these beauties with you all! (It would've been the crime of '12!)

On our desert Elephant conservation project in Namibia, travellers get the opportunity to track the elephants so working within close promixity to one of our favourite animals is a given! We've become particularly smitten with the photo of the littlen on the left too; he's a serious cutie!

New Cheetah Cub at Namibia Wildlife Sanctuary

This morning, our friends over at the Namibia Wildlife Sanctuary sent over adorable photos of baby cheetah Cubby.

Cubby, who was originally named Lorraine until his real gender became clear, was found by a farmer in Namibia in November. He was then taken to the Namibia Wildlife Sanctuary where he will now live; unfortunately, he cannot be released into the wild as he has become used to humans and has therefore lost his fear of them.

The staff at the sanctuary have built Cubby his own small camp...
