Programme Facilities and Services
Bank Account
During your orientation you will be taken to the bank. We will provide you with the full contact details of the bank and tell you what is required to open an account. You can then make an appointment that best suits you to open a bank account. We recommend you do this within your first few days in the city.
Average Wage
The cost of living in Canada is a lot lower and your money goes further. You will earn enough to pay for all of your living expenses like rent and food. You will need to take some savings with you just in case you decide to go travelling after the job.
Wages vary according to job type and location. In general, pay rates average between CAD$5.50 to CAD$14 per hour. For some jobs, if you work the full season you may get a bonus up to a CAD$1000.
Internet Facilities
You will receive free 1 hour of Internet time each day in our Vancouver or Whistler office. This is a great way to stay in touch with family and friends back home when you first arrive in Canada.
Mail Holding & Forwarding Service
We have a mail service set up for when you arrive in Canada. This way you will have a postal address as soon as you arrive. The mail service will forward standard letters to any post office at any location within Canada. So no matter where you are, your mail can reach you.
Dont Forget...
You will need a working holiday visa to take part in this programme. The working holiday visa is available to anyone age 18-30 from one of the following countries: UK, Australia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, New Zealand or Sweden.
