The Project operates from Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 17:00pm. You may be working full time, but the schedule will vary according to the activities that you want to develop as well as availability. Usually volunteers work three full days per week and have Fridays off so that they get to have longer weekends to explore the local area.
Activities you are likely to get involved in are:
- Design and Implementation of community workshops
- Evaluation of Ongoing Health Promotion Programs
- Proposal of new Health Promotion Initiatives
- Translations
- Workshops (arts, culture, etc) for youth in communities
Taking part in the project will immediately broaden your horizons due to the direct contact with people living in places and conditions very different from the ones you are used to. Your motivation and pro action will help you to work within little structure and resources to help benefit others.
