Programme Details
The Medical volunteer programme is devoted to offering the residents of a local underprivileged neighbourhood free health and safety information as well as free medical care in the hopes of improving the quality of life of these residents. Volunteers will be able to put their medical skills and abilities to use in this program, working alongside the clinic staff in medical procedures, as well as offering health and safety workshop and information sessions.
Volunteer Sectors – Responsibilities
Volunteers will have the opportunity to work in the following area:
Medical Care
The medical clinic is looking for volunteers who are able to assist local doctors in the areas of dermatology, paediatrics, obstetrics, and gynaecology. Volunteers will also be asked to assist in general duties in the clinic as well as partake information sessions, offering residents of the community up to date health and medical information as well as advice concerning health and safety.
